Emma Howard

Emma  completed her BSc (Hons) in Psychology at UEA working with Dr Neil Rutterford and then continued with her Msc (Hons) under the supervision of Dr Jane Aspell at Anglia Ruskin University,  Cambridge. Emma’s work at these two institutions focused on brain entrainment, specifically investigating the roles of neurofeedback training and binaural beats as methods for enhancing brain performance.
Emma was awarded a PhD studentship at the School of Psychology, UEA, under the supervision of Dr Andrew Bayliss and returned to UEA in October 2013. Here Emma will be conducting research into sense of agency during effortful action and cognitive resource depletion, and also for affective faces.
